Trisentia has been tracking SOA developments, standards and related technologies. The Technical Solution Group at Trisentia has explored SOA products like IBM Web Sphere Process Server, BEA Aqua logic Suite Java System Application Suite and Oracle Fusion Middleware to prepare a feature matrix to assist projects in the SOA tool selection. Trisentia has trained the resources through both internal and external training programs on SOA tools, standards and methodologies. At present Trisentia is involved in two major SOA initiatives for its clients in the finance and insurance domains.
SOA Offerings
SOA Readiness Assessment:
Many organizations want to implement SOA based solutions but are not clear on how SOA can help their business, where to begin and what tools and technologies they need and when. Trisentia's SOA readiness assessment will answer these questions for the specific business context and come up with a business case for SOA, highlighting the benefits and returns. As part of this engagement, Trisentia will also offer organizationwide training programs to ensure SOA awareness in the organization and to set expectation, at all levels.
Preparing an SOA Roadmap:
In this engagement, the organization's Current and Planned Projects will be examined to prepare an SOA roadmap with specific milestones. Trisentia will help Forman SOA governance and SOA reference architecture specific to the organization. One or more SOA pilot projects will be identified and aligned with other IT strategies. Recommendation on tools and technologies specific to the environment/business will be provided. Processes and methodologies required for SOA implementation will also be defined.
SOA Implementation:
Trisentia offers this service for organizations that are ready to implement SOA projects. Trisentia will adopt an onsite-offshore model for this engagement to deliver a cost effective solution. Trisentia will work closely with business users to prepare BPEL business models. Initial design activities like service identification, entity aggregation (in case of multi-database scenario) will also be carried out onsite in discussion with onsite technical teams. The development of service components, assembling and testing will be carried out offshore. Core infrastructure services will be built either using SOA infrastructure suite or custom SOA framework, as applicable.
